Pricing & Timelines

How much does a custom pool cost in Central Texas?
Most projects start around $80,000–$120,000 before optional upgrades. Final price varies by size, features, access, soils, and finishes. After your 3D design we provide an itemized proposal.
Typically 12–20 weeks from dig to plaster, depending on complexity, permitting, inspections, weather, and add-ons (retaining, outdoor living).
Limited access, slope/retaining, rock excavation, complex hydraulics, large decking, premium finishes, change orders, and weather hold days.

Design & Construction

Do you build gunite or fiberglass?
We specialize in gunite (shotcrete) pools for maximum design flexibility and durability in limestone soils.
Yes. We routinely handle slope, limestone/rock, and elevation changes with proper engineering, drainage, and retaining as needed.
Layout → Excavation & steel → Plumbing/hydraulics & pressure test → Gunite → Tile/coping → Decking → Utilities/automation → Plaster & startup.
We coordinate required permits and inspections with San Antonio and surrounding municipalities.
Yes—every project includes a 3D rendering so you can approve layout, elevations, and materials.

Features, Equipment & Options

What features can I add?
Baja shelves, benches, raised spas, spillways, sheer descents, scuppers, bubblers, waterfalls/grottos, fire bowls, lighting, and automation.
Both are sanitized chlorine pools; salt systems generate chlorine on site and can lower daily maintenance. We size equipment to your bather load and finishes.
Yes. Gas heaters and heat pumps extend spring/fall usage; chillers help during peak summer heat.
Popular choices include travertine, concrete with texture, and pavers; interiors include pebble, quartz, or plaster. We’ll match materials to your budget and slip-resistance goals.
Yes—mobile controls for lights, features, pumps, and spa mode. Proper hydraulics and actuator placement ensure reliable switching.

Site, Access & Logistics

How much access do you need for equipment?
Standard access is a 7–8 ft gate; narrower access may require smaller machinery and extra haul time. We’ll confirm during the site review.
We include haul-off and cleanup unless you request soil to remain for landscaping or grading.
We arrange utility locates and protect existing lines; any private lines you’ve added should be flagged before excavation.

Care, Warranty & Ownership

Do you teach me how to use the pool and equipment?
Yes—final “pool school” covers chemistry, automation, cleaning, and seasonal tips.
Manufacturer warranties apply to equipment; structural shells carry a builder warranty per your contract. We review terms at proposal.
We complete startup, balance water, and set automation. Ongoing service & maintenance options are available.

Financing, Payment & Admin

Is financing available?
Yes—on approved credit through third-party lenders. Ask during your consultation for current options.
Progress payments are tied to milestones (e.g., dig/steel, gunite, tile/coping, decking, plaster). The schedule is listed on your proposal.
We’ll price a change order and confirm timeline impacts before proceeding.

Outdoor Living & Service Area

Can you build outdoor living with the pool?
Absolutely—outdoor kitchens, pavilions, fire features, and shade can be planned and built with the pool for a cohesive space.
Greater San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country, including Boerne, New Braunfels, Dripping Springs, and Wimberley. Related location pages may show localized FAQs (e.g., cost ranges).
